Apprentice Electrician

     Cheran Inc. is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Apprentice Electricians. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable skills while working on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects.  As an apprentice, you’ll learn the trade under the guidance of experienced journeymen while participating in a structured apprenticeship program through ABC Keystone--fully sponsored by Cheran Inc.

​Key Resposibilities​
  • ​Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and install fixtures under supervision
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas
  • Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
  • Attend and complete coursework through the ABC Keystone Apprenticeship Program

Journeyman Electrician

     Cheran Inc. is hiring qualified Journeyman Electricians to join our experienced team. This position plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems. We’re looking for professionals who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and are ready to lead by example on job sites​
Key Resposibilities
  • Install electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and systems per NEC standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Train and mentor apprentice electricians
  • Ensure work is code-compliant and completed on schedule
  • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades

In this role, you’ll handle a wide range of service calls for commercial and industrial clients, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to electrical service calls at customer locations

Data Cabling & Systems Technician

Cheran Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Data Cabling & Systems Technician to join our growing low-voltage team. This technician will be responsible for installing, testing, and servicing structured cabling, fire alarm systems, and security systems in commercial and industrial environments.Whether you're already experienced or just getting started in low-voltage work, this position offers hands-on opportunities and long-term growth in a critical and expanding part of our business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling systems
  • Test, label, and certify data and voice cabling
  • Install and maintain fire alarm systems, including conduit, control panels, and devices
  • Assist with security systems including cameras, card access, and alarm systems.
  • Read and follow wiring diagrams, floor plans, and system layout
  • Ensure work is neat, code-compliant, and completed on schedule

Requirements
